Not to have ITUNES installed for the programe to work

Would be possible to run programme without to have ITUNES installed

for the program to change the property of a mp3 file from music to audiobooks (for the resume ability built in with ipod player apps)

In iphone's ipod player (apps), there's a catagory call "audio books" and mp3 file in that catagory can play a mp3 file which can remember the last playing position, and next time when I open the ipod apps, it resume playing from the last stopped...

For the program to actually work. I do have iTunes and that is working but this program doesn't. I have an iPhone 4 which is supposed to work.
